Grand Theft Auto V (GTA V) has been out on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 since September 2012. Although the game's main story may have concluded for many players, there are still plenty of hours worth of fun to be had in this open-world masterpiece.

One such activity is investing in stocks through the game's stock market system. This feature was introduced with GTA V’s first DLC pack, 'The Ballad of Gay Tony,' and allows players to buy shares in real-life companies like Apple or Coca-Cola (although these are just fictionalized versions).

If you haven't already dipped your toes into this exciting world yet then now might be the perfect time! The stock market works similarly to how it does IRL - when a company performs well, its share price will rise too. Conversely speaking; if things start going sour for them...then expect those shares plummeting right back down again.

But before you can begin making your millions (or at least getting close), there are some important missions that you'll need to complete first:

1) The First Lester Assassination Mission

To access the stock market, head over to a safehouse and go into 'Pause' mode. From here select 'Online' then choose either PlayStation Network or Xbox Live depending upon which platform your console uses.

Once inside click on 'Investments' followed by 'Stocks'. Here you'll see all available shares listed along with their current prices - simply purchase any one that catches your eye and watch as its value fluctuates based off real-life events happening around us today!

2) Hotel Assassination Mission

The second mission required before playing stocks is called 'Hotel Assassification.' This involves taking out a target at The Grand Salamanca Hotel in Los Santos. Once completed, you'll unlock access to the stock market through the same process mentioned above.
